Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Where is Milo’s Tea available?

We have a vision of seeing our Tea enjoyed all the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific – and we’re working on it! Because our products are Fresh Brewed and All Natural (containing no preservatives) we can’t just ship them across the country in a box like the other teas on the market. Milo’s Tea has to be refrigerated throughout the distribution chain until it is poured into your glass. Currently, our teas are available in Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, Florida (the panhandle), Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Virginia. Please use the Store Locator in Where to Buy Tea for information on locations near you.

How can I get it in my local store?

If Milo’s Tea is not available in your favorite store, ask the Store Manager for Milo’s Tea. Most grocery stores are happy to obtain the products that its customers request. Since you, as the customer, are “the boss,” the Store Managers are interested in making sure the products you want are available for sale in their store. Also, some retailers respond quickly to consumer requests for specific items through their website.

If you are a store-owner or manager and are interested in receiving Milo’s Famous Tea in your stores, please Contact Us.

Do I really need to keep my Milo’s Tea refrigerated?

Yes. Milo’s Famous Tea tastes so good because it is Fresh Brewed, All Natural and contains no preservatives, artificial colorings or flavorings. This means that it must stay refrigerated until it is consumed, as it says on the label. Handling similar to milk is necessary to ensure the best quality product. When you need large quantities of Milo’s Tea for use at a large function such as a family barbecue, church social, clam bake, etc. be sure to keep it on ice in a cooler or in the refrigerator.

Does Milo’s Brew a Decaffeinated Tea?

Currently, we do not have any plans to manufacture a decaf product. Our products contain approximately 28 mg caffeine per 8 oz. serving. Items listed as decaffeinated must contain less than 3 mg caffeine per serving. (Source: USDA/AMS).

To give some perspective, the average cup of coffee contains 80-135 mg caffeine and sodas can have anywhere from 34-55 mg caffeine per serving. Compared to these options, Milo’s offers less mg of caffeine per serving than many other beverage choices.

What do you use to sweeten your Famous Sweet Tea?

Admit it – you’re expecting something crazy like brown sugar or honey, aren’t you? Over the years, we’ve heard a lot of speculation, but we’re going to let you in on the secret. Milo’s Famous Sweet tea contains specially blended teas, water and pure cane sugar! There are No Preservatives, No Additives, and No Artificial Colorings-- nothing but the pure, natural ingredients you see listed on the label. The secret lies in our specially blended teas, and our brewing processes. You could attempt it at home, but why would you? Just pick up a gallon at your local grocery store, and let us do all the work.

How can I comment on existing products or submit ideas for future products?

At Milo’s Famous Tea Company, we love hearing from our customers. Not just because you guys share heartwarming compliments and hilarious stories, but also because we count on you to tell us just what it takes to remain the #1 choice in ready-to-drink teas. Will you please send me some Coupons?

Milo’s Tea Company does not offer coupons for our tea products. We believe in selling you the best ready to drink tea on the market at the best value every day. So we never play pricing games with our products --- high one day / low the next. Milo thought it was wrong to play with people’s money, so we don’t.

Can I Internet or Phone Order Milo’s Tea?

You’ve tasted the Milo’s difference and know that we prepare our tea using no preservatives or artificial ingredients. Because of this it must be refrigerated at all times. Shipping would have to be done in a cooler box strong enough for the heavy cargo, packed with blue ice and shipped overnight packed. This makes it impractical for us to offer sales through internet or phone orders. Thanks so much for appreciating the Milo’s Difference!
